What is in Spitfire Swarms?
Spitfire Swarms contains previously only available as individual libraries in the full version of Kontakt:
- the ethereal textures of Harp Swarm
- the percussive choir of Marimba Swarm
- and the chaotic interweaving beauty of Mandolin Swarm
These are now available as a single consolidated library hosted in the the free-to-download (via Native Access) Kontakt Player.
Is this library from new or existing content?
Existing content, as we have merged more of our older AIR Studios libraries, with updated UI, reviewed content and providing in a single more user friendly package.
As above, these libraries include Harp Swarm, Marimba Swarm and Mandolin Swarm.
If Spitfire Swarms is content from existing libraries, what's new?
With this merge and relaunch, you can explore the stunning performances of these incredible musicians, creates choirs from rarely grouped instruments in one place with a new UI and a review of all sample content, all presented in the latest Native Instrument Kontakt software (version 7.5.2 minimum)
This new library is also NKS-ready.
Which other libraries blend well with Spitfire Swarms?
Spitfire Swarms would sound great with, in particular, Spitfire Symphony Orchestra, Spitfire Symphonic Extras, Albion ONE and AIR Studios Reverb.
Will the separate libraries that make up Spitfire Swarms remain on sale?
The libraries contained in this new product are now discontinued and no longer available to purchase.
I have the old/original versions of the included libraries in use in old projects, will installing this affect them?
As Spitfire Swarms is a new product, registered and installed with its own entry in Kontakt, this will not affect any project containing the legacy versions.
Is Spitfire Swarms hosted in Kontakt or your dedicated Spitfire Audio Plugin?
Spitfire Swarms is a Kontakt player library, and will run in both Kontakt Full and Kontakt Player (min version 7.5.2) once registered in Native Access.
What are the system requirements for, and specifications of, this product?
Compatible and tested with all major DAWs.
