How to Reduce RAM in BBC Symphony Orchestra (Core and Pro)

Updated over 2 months ago

To reduce RAM in both BBC Symphony Orchestra Pro and Core*, you can use the built-in Technique Editor. This allows you to purge any Techniques (and the associated samples) you are not using.

Simply click the Technique Editor button to open up the editor, where you can remove and add the techniques you wish to use.

Alternatively, you can also download our BBC SO Templates from our community Forum, which contain instrument tracks that have already been purged for you.

* This feature is only available in v.1.1.9 and above of the BBC SO Core plugin. If it is not available in your plugin, please update via the Spitfire Audio App.
