How to change the release triggers in Spitfire Kontakt libraries?

Updated over 2 months ago

Some of our short articulations will have the following dropdown on the interface:

This dropdown will affect the shorts (staccato, tenuto, marcato, etc) and alter how and if a release trigger is played. The options you can select are:

No Short Artic RTs

This option is set by default, and means that the standard release tail will play out from the set round robin.

Timed Short Artic RTs

Timed will trigger a release at the end of the note, meaning that when you end/let go of the note the release will trigger. This means that you can make an articulation such as Marcato much shorter without losing the release.

Untimed Short RTs

This option will trigger a release at the end of the sample, meaning the full length of the note would need to play out.
