If, since applying the recent v1.4.7 to add the Motif Brass patches, you are receiving "missing content"errors when loading the Trombones a5 - All techniques patch from the new Motif Brass section, similar to the screenshot below:
it is possible that the cache files for the new files did not get installed or updated correctly by Kontakt when the updated NKR was installed, this can sometimes happen if Kontakt was open when the main update was installed.
Please do not attempt a batch resave to resolve this, as you will likely save the bad cache files with the NKIs, and will then only be able to resolve with a new download of the latest update (in the Spitfire app, under the cog wheel choose Reset > Latest Update).
In this case, making sure Kontakt is closed, please open the Samples folder in your Spitfire Symphony Orchestra folder:
Please locate the file Brass_MotifTrombonea5_0.nkx. If you have this file present, please proceed to the next step. If this file is missing, please contact Spitfire Audio CX.
Next please locate the following associated .nkc file:
Brass_MotifTrombonea5_0.nkc
Delete these files, then start Kontakt back up, and these files should be regenerated by Kontakt.
If, however, you continue to see an error, it may now be necessary to reset and reinstall the update in full (ensuring Kontakt is fully closed for the update). Please reset the update as per the article below (in brief, in the Spitfire app, under SSO artwork, click on the cog wheel to the right and choose Reset > Latest Update):
Please do contact us using the help widgets at support.spitfireaudio.com if you continue to have issues with missing content in the new Trombones a5 Motif Brass patch after taking these steps.
