Changelogs for BBCSO Plugin updates

Release Date 13 July 2026

BBCSO Plugin v1.12.14 (product version remains 1.7.0)

Fixed:

  • Resolved an issue where notes could drop out during offline bouncing.

Important notes:

  • VST2 plugins no longer included in BBCSO, these will not be updated. You may choose to remove these from your install altogether:

    • On Windows, VST2 plugins are typically .dll files located in folders such as C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins\, C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins\, or C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST2\.

    • On macOS, they are usually found in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/ or ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/.

    • Please note that VST2 plugins can also be installed to custom folders chosen by the user or another installer, so if you don't find the plugin in the standard locations, you may need to check your DAW's VST2 plugin path settings or any custom plugin directories you have configured.

    • After deleting the VST2 plugin file(s), restart your DAW and, if necessary, perform a plugin rescan to update the plugin list.

  • Users will need to repair their library in order to apply this update - you may need to repair all installed sections of your BBCSO product in the same repair session (incl Piano if you have purchased this) to ensure they all show up correctly:
