How to find LABS support files

If you're having issues with the LABS plugin and encountering error messages, one of the most helpful things for our support team is to see a plugin log and your spitfire.properties file. These can be found in the plugin by using the "View Plugin Log Files" and "View Properties" files options in the Troubleshooting section:

Alternatively you can navigate there directly using the paths below:


Plugin Log:

Windows:

C:/Users/USERNAME/AppData/Roaming/com.spitfireaudio

macOS:

MacHD/Users/USERNAME/Library/Logs/com.spitfireaudio

Once in the folder, attach the most recent file in this folder. Do not upload the entire folder please!


Spitfire.properties + LABS.settings:

Windows:

C:/Users/USERNAME/AppData/Roaming/Spitfire Audio/Settings

macOS:

MacHD/Users/USERNAME/Music/Spitfire Audio/Settings


How to access:

Windows:

To access the "AppData" folder on Windows, do the following:

1. Open File Explorer

2. Click "View" at the top

3. Select "Show > Hidden Files"

macOS:

To access the User Library folder on macOS, do the following:

1. Open Finder.

2. Click "Go" at the top.

3. While holding the "option" key, find "Library" within the list and select it.
