What is Splice INSTRUMENT?
Splice INSTRUMENT is a sample-based virtual instrument which can be downloaded as a plugin (VST3, AU, AAX) to be used directly in your DAW, or as a standalone application. Browse and download presets within INSTRUMENT and play them on a chromatic keyboard to turn your ideas into reality, with 2 premium packs dropping every month so you'll always stay inspired.
Which Spitfire Audio products are in INSTRUMENT?
The Originals range of Spitfire Audio libraries is delivered and accessed entirely through INSTRUMENT. Originals titles are available as individual perpetual licence purchases from spitfireaudio.com, or as part of a Splice INSTRUMENT subscription.
To access your Originals products you'll need to link your Spitfire Audio account to a Splice account. For full setup instructions, see the [Originals FAQ].
LABS content was also the first Spitfire Audio range to move to INSTRUMENT — for more on that, see here
INSTRUMENT and the Spitfire Audio App
INSTRUMENT is separate from the Spitfire Audio App. The majority of Spitfire Audio libraries — all Kontakt and Dedicated Plugin titles — continue to use the Spitfire Audio App for installation and management. INSTRUMENT is specifically the home for Originals and LABS content.
You will need to create a Splice account in order to access your products in INSTRUMENT.
After checking out you'll be taken through the steps to create and link your Splice account to access your products.
